My 13th Birthday

Hi everyone! As some of you might know, I turned 13 in October. I went to London for the day so I thought I would post about it here for a change from reviews. :)

I got some really awesome presents including an electric guitar (with an amp), a camera and a graphics tablet. Obviously I took my camera with me and I took about 300 photos!

We went on the train to Kings Cross and I had my photo taken next to the Platform 9 3/4 sign. It's out of Harry Potter. :) I've wanted to have a photo taken there for ages but every time I've been, it's been closed off because they're rebuilding that part (I think).

Then we got the tube to Monument where we climbed the 311 steps to the top. It was built to commemorate the fire of London.

Tall!

The tall building you can see is called the Shard. When it's finished being built it will be the tallest building in London!

After that we went to the Britain at War museum which was really good but a bit creepy because of how realistic it was. :D

I think that hat might have been a bit too big...

And then we got lost. :/ While my Mum and step-dad were trying to figure out where we were, I took a couple of random photos...

We accidently stumbled upon Borough Market which is a really big food market with loads of different foods that you don't really see anywhere else. Me and Mum had some amazing fresh berry smoothies and a Cinnamon biscuit-type-thing. 

While we were still lost, we saw the ruins of Winchester Palace...

Then we went to the Clink which was the oldest prison in London. It was really spooky in there. ;)

After that we went to Pizza Express next to the Thames. Yummy :D 

And then after that - (we crammed a lot into one day as you can see!) - we went to the Tate Modern. We didn't get time to look around the whole thing but it was still really good.

We also walked past Shakespeare's Globe. It was too late to go in though.

Then we made our way back to Kings Cross. :)
